New review article on saccadic inhibition
Together with Prof Hafed, we published a new review article discussing saccadic inhibition, from the discovery of the effect to the how different types of visual stimulation modulate the behavior. We conclude by proposing a novel mechanism located deep in the brainstem that might explain such phenomenon.
Personally, I’m very happy excited about this work because it represents my scientific journey from the behavioral work on saccadic inhibition I did during my PhD to the neurophysiological recordings that I carried on in Tuebingen under Prof. Hafed mentorship at the Physiology of Active Vision laboratory.
Early access to the review can be found here.
